David's voice straddles “classic” and “contemporary” and is middle aged British English with believability, authority and fun.
He continues to provide live continuity on Channel 4 and More 4 on a freelance basis. David currently has credits on over 1500 re-versioned documentaries, most of which have been broadcast on History, Bio, Crime and Investigation Network but also on Teachers’ TV, Five and Nat Geo.
In December, for NAT Geo, David recorded Earth Without the Moon and Living on the Moon which were thoughtful, contemplative, scientific reads with more than a whiff of mystery while additionally recording an 8 part series of MEGAFACTORIES (series 2 and soon to air) – highly charged, energetic reads for audiences with a love of facts. He continues to record Medical Detectives for C&IN (now over 200 episodes) and has just completed *Deep Sea Salvage x 8 for History – another programme in the vein of Ice Truckers.
