With decades of experience John is clear, authoitative, warm and natural- A fantastic reader due to years presenting Live TV news
John Mundy is an established, versatile and respected member of the UK's voice-over 'community'. The vast majority of his work - television and radio commercials, promos and trailers, corporate videos, documentary narration, telephone prompts, interactive CD Roms - is originated in his digitally-equipped studio for either live links on ISDN or despatch via mp3 / wav, CD or MiniDisc.
His wide experience in the entertainment industry covers theatre acting, television continuity announcing, news anchoring, facilitating conferences and presentation of live TV shows and events.
John Mundy was born and educated in Manchester, UK. He trained as an actor, but has worked mostly in TV presentation - with ITV and then the BBC where, for twenty-two years, he anchored the daily news / magazine, 'Northwest Tonight' - an edition of which won the prestigious 'Prix Circom' for Europe's Best Regional News Programme.
John Mundy's clients include high-street names, blue-chip businesses and top broadcasters in the UK and beyond. He also works for some of the industry's longest-established and most respected production companies.
Clients who make use of John's services on a daily basis will tell you that he is a 'pro', consistently delivering top quality work, with precision, enthusiasm and, perhaps most importantly, good humour!
John is the 'voice of choice' for many leading broadcasters. His authoritive, yet warm and unobtrusive tone - combined with his considerable television news experience - make him ideal for documentary, corporate and promotional narration.
However, his acting training has equipped him for versatility and his 'selly' and charatcter voices are equally in demand by producers of commercials, promos and station imaging.
